Everyone has a story. In the 31 years of the HIV epidemic, we are all in some way affected by HIV - whether we are living with HIV, a friend, a loved one of someone with HIV, a caregiver, or a community member. Through the Facing AIDS photo initiative, thousands of people have shared a sentence from the story about why he/she is Facing AIDS: to fight stigma. To raise awareness and remember those who we have lost.
These photos/messages are just a piece of a powerful story. This year, the fifth year of Facing AIDS, 46% of adult internet users are creators of original photo or video content that they post online. What’s your story?Photo sharing gives us the opportunity to tell our stories broadly. To learn some of the basics of photosharing, visit Common CraftExit Disclaimer.
