The many intersections between and opportunities for collaborative responses to HIV and viral hepatitis were discussed in several sessions at the 2019 U.S. Conference on AIDS in Washington, DC. Corinna Dan, Senior Viral Hepatitis Policy Advisor at the HHS Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy, joined us for a video conversation to share some highlights that she and her colleagues have presented here at the conference.

Ms. Dan discussed the National Viral Hepatitis Action Plan, an initiative to map viral hepatitis elimination efforts across the country, and actions needed to move toward viral hepatitis elimination.
