HIV.gov will host Live with Leadership: A Conversation for National HIV Testing Day Exit Disclaimeron Tuesday, June 21st from 3:30 – 4:00 ET. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Timothy Harrison, Deputy Director for Strategic Initiatives and Senior Policy Advisor, Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP). Panelists include:
- Kaye Hayes, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Infectious Disease and the Director of the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy, Department of Health and Human Services, and Executive Director of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA)

National HIV Testing Day is held each year on June 27, and this year’s theme is “HIV Testing is Self-Care.” Panelists will discuss the importance of knowing your HIV status, innovations in testing programs including self-testing, holistic approaches, and how the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. initiative can accelerate efforts to increase HIV testing and decrease stigma.
Live with Leadership conversations provide opportunities to hear directly from key HHS and HIV community leaders about new and ongoing work to further the goals of the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative.
